The award winning re-development of Debenhams flagship department store on Henry Street in Dublin’s City Centre. The project consisted of:
Structural alterations to the existing store involving the removal of spine walls, stairwells, escalators, facades, walls and columns.
Strengthening of the existing structure.
New façade structure to support new precast feature cladding.
Cantilever corner glass atrium and a large central escalator well with large glazed rooflight over.
Two additional storeys added to the building, to give a total retail area of approximately 15,000m2
