New Dolphin Park, Rialto, Dublin

The project involved the construction of 43no. social housing units and associated communal facilities. The development consisted of 5no. blocks (A-E) ranging from 2no. Storeys to 4no. storeys, arranged around a central communal courtyard.  
 
The structure was a combination of precast floors supported on blockwork walls, with localised R.C. piers and 2no. R.C. cores providing access through the buildings.  
 
Steel cantilever balconies were used around the external façade of the project, and an internal steel framed walkway provides access on the internal façade around the courtyard from the 2no. cores to the residential units.
