Griffith Wood is a brand new residential development of 365 no of apartments and 8 no. houses on a green field site on the prestigious Griffith Avenue. The site area is a 3.06 ha, with a frontage of 250m along Griffith Avenue. The development consists of 7 number of apartment blocks, ranging from 4 to 7 storeys in height, an amenities building, creche and 8 number of houses. The site has a 10m rise from front to back. This lead to 6 out of the 7 apartment blocks sitting above a shared 2 storey stepped basement. The basement dig was an open vertical cut of around 6m without sheet piling. Landscaping was appropriately designed to include children play facilities, native species, encouraging bio-diversity.
