Project Update: Block 5, Northern Cross, Dublin 7

Good to see Block 5 rising out of the ground at Northern Cross, Dublin 17. The development of this 12 storey landmark building by Montane Developments will serve in Architectural terms to ‘book-end’ the Malahide Road elevation of the Northern Cross development, and is another significant step towards the overall completion the Northern Cross Quarter.

The insitu reinforced concrete frame is being constructed by Montane Developments, and their subcontractors M.R. Concrete Ltd, and involves jump forming two cores and utilising two storey high precast columns to maximise programme efficiency.

Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers are providing the full suite of civil, traffic and structural engineering consultancy services on the project, from planning through to completion.
